He has contributed compositions for full theatrical shows, stage plays, video and commercial events, theatrical performances, choirs and soloists.
John’s musicals The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Samuel French) and All 4 One (MCI on behalf of Josef Weinberger) have received worldwide productions.
His song arrangements and orchestrations are regularly used in performances.

He enjoys developing music for different performance ideas. These have included incidental music and main song for The Diary Of Me performed at the Finborough Theatre, London, an Italian tour of Peter Pan which promote English culture across the country, using actors and puppetry to tell this story, and the keynote song for Hellsing, a new musical created by Colin Charles.
John is Head of the Musical Team for a new musical, For the lack of Laura. Collaborating with composer Kurt Rosenberg, a multi-award winning composer, lyricist, film maker and theatre-maker, and bookwriter and lyricist, Lezie Wade, he is arranging and orchestrating the new score. John’s music has been used for video and live commercial events, where bespoke music brought greater authenticity.
Creating new music for Brentwood Theatre productions for nearly a decade, his compositions included James and The Giant Peach, The Twits and Fantastic Mr Fox. He also arranged full orchstestrations for many other productions including, The Meg and Mog Show, The Gingerbread Man and The Owl and the Pussycat.
